For over three decades, Kenney's offered hungary Roanokers several favorites inlcuding the sauce burger and tasty fried chicken.
At one time there where 50 Kenney's restaurants located in Central and Southwest Virginia and West Virginia.
The Kenney's restaurant run of success came to an end in the '80s, but there are a few restaurants left.

There's one in Buena Vista, Lexington, and Lynchburg.
In recent years, the restaurant's founder Bill Kenney, has traded in burgers and fries to work with Habitat for Humanity.
And he continues to serve the community to this day.
